Gurugram: In the volleyball competition being held as part of the 59th State-Level Sports Competition, the district team delivered a strong performance by defeating the Ambala team 2-0 and advancing to the next round.
In the match played on Sunday, Gurugram’s players displayed an attacking style of play from the beginning and maintained pressure on the Ambala team in both sets. The competition is being organised in Kurukshetra, with district-level winning teams from government and private schools across the state participating.
The Gurugram team showed excellent coordination and strong gameplay throughout the match. The players secured crucial points at important moments to win both sets. Although the Ambala team attempted to make a comeback, Gurugram’s players maintained consistent pressure and secured a 2-0 victory.
