Municipal Corporation Gurugram Issues Revised Water Supply Rates
The Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) has re-issued information regarding revised water supply service charges for city residents. According to the release, an annual increase of approximately 5% will be applied each financial year from 2024 through 2027. These new rates took effect on April 1 for various categories, including residential, group housing societies, institutional, industrial, and commercial consumers.
MCG officials stated that the revised fee structure aims to promote water conservation and ensure the financial sustainability of water supply services. Consumers are urged to pay their bills on time and use water sparingly.

- Disconnection/Re-connection Fee: ₹1,000

These updates are intended to make the water supply system more effective while strengthening maintenance and operational activities.
Applications Invited for Authorized Plumbers
The Municipal Corporation Gurugram is inviting applications from qualified plumbers for official registration. Interested individuals can apply at the office of the Executive Engineer (HQ), MCG.
Eligibility Criteria:
- An ITI Diploma in the plumbing trade OR
- At least 5 years of experience working with a reputable institution.
Authorized plumbers will be permitted to handle water connections, disconnections, and related municipal works.
