Rewari Crushes Gurugram by 59 Runs

Gurugram: The Haryana Cricket Association is conducting the Under-23 Inter-District Cricket Tournament 2026-27. In the tournament’s 10th match, Rewari delivered an impressive performance to defeat Gurugram by 59 runs under the VJD method. The match was played at the 22 Yards Cricket Ground on Bhiwani Road in Rohtak.

After winning the toss, Rewari elected to bowl first. Batting first, Gurugram were bowled out for 180 runs in 43.1 overs. Lakshya Yadav top-scored with 64 runs, while Vibhor Gaur contributed 56. Moksh Mudgil added 18 runs, and Abhiraj Vashisth chipped in with 15. For Rewari, Aman Rai was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets.

In reply, Rewari made a steady start to the chase. Captain Gautam Yadav led from the front with a brilliant 72-run knock. Aarav Jeff picked up two wickets for Gurugram. Rewari had reached 168/4 in 38 overs when bad weather forced play to be abandoned.

As the match could not be resumed, the result was decided using the VJD method, with Rewari declared winners by 59 runs.
