Gurugram: To strengthen students’ connection with Haryana’s rich cultural heritage, government schools across the district will now sing the Haryana State Anthem once every week. The Directorate of School Education has issued directions to all District Education Officers regarding the implementation of this initiative.
According to the official order, every government school will perform the Haryana State Anthem once a week after the morning assembly prayer. To facilitate the practice, the anthem’s lyrics and MP3 audio files will be provided to all schools in advance, allowing both teachers and students to rehearse.
School heads have also been instructed to ensure that copies of the anthem’s lyrics are made available to students. If required, printed copies should be distributed to help students learn the anthem. Additionally, students who conduct the daily morning assembly will receive regular practice sessions so they can lead the anthem accurately with the entire school.
The anthem will also be practiced regularly through the schools’ house system to ensure consistent participation and familiarity among students.
