Gurugram: Gurugram Police traced three missing girls in separate cases and reunited them with their families within 24 to 48 hours. The prompt action brought relief to the families, who thanked the police for their swift response.
In the first case, a 20-year-old woman from Sector 45, who had left home without informing her family, was traced within 24 hours after a complaint was filed at Sector 40 Police Station.
In the second case, police located a missing 14-year-old girl in Assam using technical assistance. After completing legal formalities and counselling, she was reunited with her parents.
In the third case, another 14-year-old girl reported missing under Sadar Police Station was traced in West Bengal within 48 hours and safely handed over to her family after counselling.
Gurugram Police urged the public to immediately report any missing person to the nearest police station or Dial 112, as timely information helps officers act quickly and improve the chances of a safe recovery.
