Gurugram: The last date for submitting online applications for admission to the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Sohna has been extended to June 30. To facilitate applicants, the Government ITI, Sohna, has decided to keep its application assistance center open on Saturday and Monday as well, ensuring that no student faces any difficulty in completing the application process.The institute’s Principal, Sonika, said that nine committees have been formed to spread awareness about admissions among a larger number of students. These committees are visiting villages to inform students and their parents about the various trades offered at the ITI, the online application process, and employment opportunities, enabling more youth to apply on time.She further stated that interested candidates can submit their applications through the department’s online portal until June 30. During the application process, candidates can select their preferred institute and trade, as well as check the availability of seats.According to the institute, students have shown the highest interest so far in the Electrician, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), and Fitter trades.
