गुरुग्राम के Manesar क्षेत्र में एक बार फिर तेंदुए की मौजूदगी से हड़कंप मच गया है। बताया जा रहा है कि शनिवार को बास गांव की शंकर की ढाणी, जो मानेसर की पहाड़ी क्षेत्र के पास स्थित है, में तेंदुए के पैरों के निशान दिखाई दिए। इसके बाद से ही ग्रामीणों में दहशत का माहौल है।
स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत इसकी जानकारी पुलिस और वन विभाग को दी। सूचना मिलने के बाद वन विभाग की टीम ने शनिवार शाम से लेकर देर रात तक इलाके में तलाशी अभियान चलाया, लेकिन तेंदुआ हाथ नहीं लगा। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि पहाड़ी इलाका पास होने के कारण यहां तेंदुए का आना-जाना आम बात है।
गौरतलब है कि इससे पहले 3 अक्टूबर को भी Manesar के IMT सेक्टर-8 में तेंदुआ देखा गया था, जिसे वन विभाग की टीम ने लगभग छह घंटे की कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद पकड़ लिया था। वहीं, करीब दो साल पहले दीपावली के दिन मारुति सुजुकी कंपनी की दीवार पर तेंदुआ टहलता हुआ कैमरे में कैद हुआ था। उसी समय कासन गांव के खाली इलाके में भी तेंदुआ देखा गया था।
Leopard footprints were spotted on Saturday in Shankar ki Dhani near Bas village, close to the hilly area of Manesar. This has created fear among the local residents. However, the Forest Department team carried out a search operation but did not find the leopard.
The footprints were first seen on Saturday evening in Shankar ki Dhani of Bas Kushla village under the IMT police station area. Locals immediately informed the police and the Forest Department. The Forest team searched the area till late at night but could not locate the leopard. Since the area is close to the hills, leopard sightings are common here.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, on October 3, a leopard was also spotted in Sector 8 of IMT Manesar. The Forest Department team managed to capture it after nearly six hours of effort. Around two years ago, on the day of Diwali, a leopard was seen roaming near the wall of the Maruti Suzuki company, and around the same time, another leopard was spotted in the open area near Kasan village.
